parallel 3.1.1
If parcellfun is called with empty arguments it shows
octave> x = parcellfun (3, "size", {})
error: parcellfun: failed to fork processes
which is misleading. I think it should show an error indicating that the input
set is empty or IMHO even better: just return an empty matrix/cell array
