Follow-up Comment #3, bug #50483 (project octave):

@Tejaswi: We usually acknowledge contributors to Octave by adding them to the
list at the front of the Octave manual.  Would you like to be credited? 
Secondly, we usually check in a change with a person's name and contact e-mail
so they can be reached if there is an issue with a patch.  Do you have a name
and e-mail that you would like to use?  If not, I can check the change in
under my own credentials.
