Rik,

I tried also the example code from the original submission
and that now works correctly.

I think we can finally close this bug after more than 4 years and mark it as
fixed, great!!!

This will probably also allow for a new release of the secs package after all
this time ;)

What should be done with the test code?
I'd say leave it in place to avoid regressions, is this right?
Should the name of the test be left unchanged even if this ticket is closed?
