Follow-up Comment #11, bug #51871 (project octave): As far as I can tell, Octave documentation is lacking. You mentioned delimiters. Rather than use ", \t" in several locations, defining ASCIIDELIM or something similar would be better practice. Semicolon should be accepted too.
