Follow-up Comment #6, bug #52135 (project octave):

Following up on my second point in the previous post, let's add the following
example to the list of clarification:


bar ([3 4], 'stacked')


I think this should create a stacked bar chart, not a conventional bar chart. 
Noting again that it doesn't matter if we think of


bar ([3 4], 'grouped')


as a group or a conventional bar chart because they are pretty much the same.
