Follow-up Comment #23, bug #39535 (project octave): Using the alpha5 patch, I still have the same problem that the onscreen rendering is fine, but the printout is either opaque (Qt) or correctly translucent (FLTK). I have two versions of gl2ps installed and maybe the Qt toolkit is picking up the wrong one? ii gl2ps-1.4.0 1.4.0-1 amd64 OpenGL to Postscript Library ii libgl2ps0 1.3.8-1.2 amd64 Lib providing high quality vector output for OpenGL application I'm willing to say that this is a problem specific to my hardware and software setup.
