Follow-up Comment #3, bug #52303 (project octave):
This is probably something to do with clipping. Maybe there is someplace
where '<' was used when '<=' was intended.
For example, If I change the position statement to
set (gca, 'position', [0 0 1.0 .999])
then I get a printout.
