Details:


In the enclosed code an animation is generated and the axis and tick marks
should not change during the animation.
It works as expected with version 4.2.1

With the devel version:
When crating an animation the axis flicker and  occasionally display tickmarks
at undesired positions are shown.

graphics_toolkit: qt and fltk
Tested with Ubuuntu 16.04 and 17.10, with very different graphics cards
(NVidia and Intel)
