Confirmed. Thanks for catching that, I'm sure it has been there a while. I
made a clarification in the language here
(http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/6e1d3ad32ed1). The change was
made on the stable branch and will be a part of the 4.2.2 bug fix release.
Marking as fixed and closing report.
p.s. There is no "Any" because a bug doesn't, in fact, apply to all releases.
It might apply to release 3.8.0, or it might apply to several releases such as
3.8.0, 4.0.3, 4.2.1. We tag the bug wit the release it applies to, or to the
first release where it was found.
