Follow-up Comment #1, bug #52790 (project octave):
Here's a related observation: Dock widgets don't seem to be anything other
than the standard Octave logo. E.g.,
graphics_toolkit qt
plot(1:50)
I go to the GUI's "Preferences" menu and under "General" is "Icon set for dock
widgets", which I select and exit/relaunch; nothing seems to change. My
recollection is that option was designed to pick the appearance of extra
windows. Letter icons were supposed to be the Octave logo with a letter
superimposed. I personally would prefer the main window have a slightly
different icon than the rest (I'm using Mint Cinnamon, or whatever it is that
puts the dock toolbar at the top/bottom).
