Follow-up Comment #10, bug #52775 (project octave): You are right, I was confused because of the parallel build. A fuller error message is: MAKEINFO doc/interpreter/octave.html/.octave-html-stamp /opt/octave/.build/../doc/interpreter//macros.texi:112: Unknown command `codequoteundirected'. doc/interpreter/expr.texi:111: Unknown command `sortas'. doc/interpreter/expr.texi:111: Misplaced {. doc/interpreter/expr.texi:111: Misplaced }. Too many errors! Gave up.
