URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?52840> Summary: GUI hangs on use of edit() Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: rik5 Submitted on: Mon 08 Jan 2018 04:21:05 PM PST Category: GUI Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Regression Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: dev Operating System: GNU/Linux _______________________________________________________ Details: This is a regression from 4.2.1 where this worked. Start a new Octave GUI session ./run-octave -f edit junk A Save dialog window appears to be created, but the interior is blank and there is a beachball-like icon indicating a wait. Eventually I just kill the process. This happens to be with KDE and Oxygen widgets if that matters. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?52840> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
