URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?52875> Summary: (io-2.4.9) __OCT_xlsx2oct__.m Empty value tag (<v/>) due to a formula in Excel causes multiple cells to be skipped Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: None Submitted on: Fri 12 Jan 2018 09:14:08 PM UTC Category: Octave Forge Package Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Incorrect Result Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Name: radekivv Originator Email: address@hidden Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: 4.2.1 Operating System: Microsoft Windows _______________________________________________________ Details: (io-2.4.9) Installed Octave 4.2.1 and IO Package 2.4.9. Read values from Excel sheet using xlsread function. Multiple cells returned NaN value rather than the original value. Debugging pinpointed the problem to the line 91 of __OCT_xlsx2oct__.m (reading xml file). Empty value tag (<v/>) due to a formula in Excel causes multiple cells to be skipped. Attaching two files below: original xml file and file with val values after the line 91 is executed. _______________________________________________________ File Attachments: ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Fri 12 Jan 2018 09:14:08 PM UTC Name: Octave bug1.txt Size: 33KiB By: None <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=42895> ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Fri 12 Jan 2018 09:14:08 PM UTC Name: Octave bug3.txt Size: 13KiB By: None <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=42896> _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?52875> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
