Details:

I have tried to view variables in graphic form on octave 3.8.2 release but
when this happens I always get a segmentation fault error right upon typing
clf:

octave:1> clf;
panic: Segmentation fault -- stopping myself...
attempting to save variables to 'octave-workspace'...
save to 'octave-workspace' complete
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

How do I resolve this issue?
