Hi John,

I tried your patch on a recent ArchLinux (KDE desktop, Qt 5.10, UHD
3840x2160). See the attached screenshots (generated with the GUI):

* "graphics_toolkit qt" works fine (fonts could be larger, lines could be a
bit thicker)
* "graphics_toolkit gnuplot" works find (fonts ARE larger, lines are also a
bit thin)
* "graphics_toolkit fltk" IS BROKEN. The figure window is too small - the
scaling of the figure is correct.

I had to disable OSMesa during compilation (although I have mesa 17.3.2
installed) because of the following error:

error: __osmesa_print__: Depth and stencil doesn't match, are you sure you are
using OSMesa >= 9.0?

I hope this doesn't spoil my results ...
