Follow-up Comment #21, bug #52940 (project octave):

If I LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib64/libGLX_mesa.so.0
then test code in comment #18 works for me (produces a centered plot on a
paper). If I do not preload, then plot is off center on screen and in tst.pdf.
Also after set(1,'visible','off') I get
the usual:
