@Marshall: Could you re-check whether this is still a problem?  There has been
a lot of work on the Variable Editor in January.

I'm using Linux, and things work for me pasting in to LibreOffffice.

openvar x
# Select first 3 columns with mouse, Copy, Paste into spreadsheet
