Follow-up Comment #40, bug #50463 (project octave):

I also get a segmentation fault on Debian using a BLAS built without
deprecated symbols.

The initialize_gsvd function appears to not work on my system. The call to
octave::dynamic_library ("") returns the nil_rep instance, have_DGGSVD3 is
always false, and then attempting to call the old DGGSVD function results in a
segmentation fault.
