Follow-up Comment #25, bug #53005 (project octave): This bug report is about performance. I think the question of format might better be continued under bug #53000. I added bug #53044 about adding an extensible right-click menu that could run user-created callbacks. One can search through the bug reports using the terms "Variable Editor".
