Follow-up Comment #53, bug #45659 (project octave):

I don't think the library configuration issue is a thing that needs fixing in
Octave, I think the configure script is doing the right thing as it stands.

I think there are so many ways these libraries can be configured on different
systems, and different methods would be needed to try to detect some kind of
multiple linkage, I'm not sure how we would address that for a simple warning
in the configure script. But if someone does want to dream up a way (not
involving ldd for example) to detect that our link options will result in
something that links in more than one BLAS implementation, then I think they
are welcome to try.
