Follow-up Comment #19:

One remaining question is how to handle a non-existent value such as


winqueryreg ("HKEY_CURRENT_USER", "Environment")


Should Octave produce an error (as it does now) or should it just return "" or
[] to indicate that there was nothing there?

We might as well be Matlab compatible on this so if someone could check that
it would help resolve this bug report.
