Follow-up Comment #1, bug #53117 (project octave):
What "executable" file of Octave have you checked exactly? And how many
scanners (from around 70 possible scanners at virustotal) reported problems
with this file?
It seems to not be one of the exe installer files from the official download
site (https://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/octave/windows/). Because those files are above
170MB each (for the current Windows releases of Octave 4.2.1). And virustotal
only accepts files up to 32MB for http link checking, and up to 128MB for
checking of uploaded files.
