Follow-up Comment #3, bug #53046 (project octave):
Dan, in the comments for bug #53105 you say that you just "about have ready a
revamped variable editor" and point to this report. Any update on progress?
I'd like to move ahead with fixing the various bug reports related to the
variable editor but I don't want to cause a lot of merge conflicts or
duplicate work.
