Follow-up Comment #5, bug #53209 (project octave):

Oh, I didn't see your changeset.  Are we sure that forcing the array lengths
to be the same is the thing to do?  I'm fine with that (it obviously didn't
cross my mind at the time that they'd be different), but I mean from a
compatibility perspective.
