Follow-up Comment #1, bug #53285 (project octave):

I'm not seeing this on linux Mint.  Those line numbers seem to suggest
ishghandle() not returning some correct value.  ishghandle() is the core of
all these and is done in graphics.cc while the rest are script files.

Is there any more error message info other than those numbers?  Can you recall
the last time you downloaded and compiled the development version for which
this worked?
