Follow-up Comment #35, bug #53151 (project octave):

I don't know why java was disabled for this build.

I set JAVA_HOME in the buildbot user's .profile file using the command from
your shell script:


export JAVA_HOME="$(/usr/libexec/java_home -v 9)"


Here's what I see on the buildbot system:

I can try removing the --disable-java flag and see whether it actually works.
