Follow-up Comment #4, bug #53258 (project octave): Actually if you look at buildbots -- they are now regularly failing at some random tests. In most of those cases the error exceeds tolerance by some small amount (usually less than a factor of 2). pcg looks much more gross in that regard, that is why I reported it -- I was wondering if there is something more serious here.
