Follow-up Comment #30, bug #53006 (project octave):
Ok sorry, I incorrectly assumed that lxml was part of any installation. The
answer is *yes* lxml supports parsing html files which most xml libraries
don't (including the builtin python xml module).
Rik will try and take a look at doing this in bare Perl with regular
expressions only (no dependency) or we could end up requiring lxml.
