Details:

Extracted octave-4.2.2-w64.zip to folder, console version will run, but
invoking GUI immediately brings up "This application has requested the Runtime
to terminate it in an unusual way. etc ..."

Previously installed 4.2.1 the same way, with no problems. Still present, and
still starts correctly.
