Follow-up Comment #1, bug #53371 (project octave):
It seems there is a macports port for lxml.html that fixes the issue
on my system:
http://lxml.de/installation.html
but there seems to be no homebrew formula for it, so I cannot fix the issue on
the reference macos system.
help from homebrew experts welcome here.
