[Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #53365] Up-Arrow command line completion does

From: Philip Nienhuis
Subject: [Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #53365] Up-Arrow command line completion does not work in octave-4.5.0+

Follow-up Comment #7, bug #53365 (project octave):

/etc/inputrc

It changed -AFAICS- around the start, or shortly before the start, of OctConf
and it was already in 4.3.0+

I usually run Octave on Linux using ./run-octave & (and now with
--force-gui).
The latest "real" 4.3.0+ installation (make install) on my box is from March 2
and it still works OK there.

I wouldn't know how to track down which dependencies were updated when. Mageia
has rpm, when I have more time I can try to read up on that.
It's no big deal, it's only me who seems to be affected and I use Octave on
Linux mainly for testing (my colleagues are all on Windows so I use Octave by
far the most on that platform).
