Follow-up Comment #48, bug #53006 (project octave):

Yeah, I don't know. I mean, I'm wondering what people are envisioning for
this that it could be on the order of what Qt Assistant is doing. I'm looking
at the qhc file right now: there are multiple pages/levels, search, contents,
index, back, home, print, find. Are all these features going to be within the
Octave GUI somehow the way that there is a Documentation window?

Also, the first thing the user will do after opening the new would-be help
feature in the GUI is s/he will float the window, because looking at Qt
Assistant the QHC contents obviously requires the associated QTextView to be
so wide to avoid cutoff that it can't be contained within the GUI along with
any other windows. If Qt Assistant could be made to hide via the GUI "Window"
dropdown menu and had an Octave-custom Icon for the TaskBar, no one would
notice its a separate process.

With remote control, if I'm recalling correctly, one might even be able to
make "help funcxyz" jump to the proper location in Qt Assistant.
