Update of bug #53446 (project octave): Category: None => Libraries _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #4: Both work for me on Debian as well, I don't see anything wrong with the examples or the way they are built. The stack trace in the original post is reporting an error of "free(): invalid next size (fast)" from glibc. This is suspiciously similar to the error I get when I don't set LD_LIBRARY_PATH correctly and load the wrong Octave libraries. Can you show a complete set of command lines that you used to build and run the examples on GNU/Linux?
