Details:

There are some frequently encountered issues that new Octave users stumble
over. Some of these are related to the difference between pure math and
numerical computing such as a signed zero (-0). Others are related to the
differences in philosophy between Matlab (where many users start) and Octave.
It has been suggested that expanding the documentation to have a FAQ on these
issues would be helpful. An initial list of topic is

1) Inf * i ==> (NaN + InfI)

2) Computation and display of -0

3) Comparison of complex numbers with <, <=, >, >= vs. min and max functions

4) String class vs. character arrays

5) What it means for Octave to be compatible with Matlab
