Follow-up Comment #29, bug #53392 (project octave):

@Torsten: What versions of Qt are you using on Unity and KDE?  It could be
very likely that this crash bug is only associated with that range of versions
(5.6.1 <= V < 5.7.1) that have the non-relocatable QDockWidgets.  Recall, that
bug is one in which the sub-panels snap back to their original location when
attempting to move.
