OK, thanks. To be clear (since the original title is a bit off target, this
really is more general than Variable Editor), in the main GUI window you are
unable to move docked widgets around freely as well as the Variable Editor?
I'm using Mint KDE/Plasma here as well. Do you have the same Qt build:
