Follow-up Comment #1, bug #53584 (project octave):
After taking a better look:
grep doesn't find "gripes.h" in the control-3.1.0 code base; it is referenced
only in core include file libinterp/corefcn/oct.h.
Do I infer correctly that the include for gripes.h should have been dropped
from there after removing the "gripes" functions?
