Follow-up Comment #6, bug #48541 (project octave):
While it makes sense to assume that scripts are for batch processing,
GNU/Octave is a powerful dynamic language, with which you can implement
interactive applications. For example, for games, where keyboard-mediated
interaction is essential, 'kbhit()' is a must. (We're actually running a major
project on that, and that's the reason we ended up here.)
Are there plans to fix this in the future?
