Follow-up Comment #1:
Confirmed, and still affects the stable branch that is about to become Octave
4.4.
The old removed warning IDs "Octave:fopen-file-in-path" and
"Octave:load-file-in-path" are mentioned in doc/interpreter/basics.txi and in
scripts/help/warning_ids.m.
This should be easy to fix before Octave 4.4 is released.
