Follow-up Comment #10, bug #53459 (project octave):
@Philip, Markus,
I figured out that your upload file '__OCT_xlsx2oct__.m' from Markus did solve
the problem for '500V_SHORT.xlsx'. But for simple other standard Excel files
now it fails. The original io 2.4.10 does not fail for such simple Excel
files.
So, if you upload an updated version of '__OCT_xlsx2oct__.m' I would test it
with different cases of Excel files.
