Follow-up Comment #2, bug #53791 (project octave):
For context see the discussion 'Revert mass exodus of statistics functions' on
the octave-maintainers mailing list starting 2018-03-22, and also previous
threads. So has 4.4 been released now in this state? Then I would say it is
not a feature request, but a clear Matlab incompatibility bug, as normpdf is
(and has always been) available in stock Matlab and is probably being used
quite often.
