Thanks. If I provide a patch or update the mercurial repo can you test whether
the fix works for you?

The medfilt1 function compiles fine on GNU/Linux, seems to only be a problem
on Windows.

It would be very helpful to have regular Windows testers for these kinds of
issues in the future.
