BTW, would you (or some other developer) already be registered with Qt's
discussion board?  It would be nice for someone to put a watch on this bug:

I'm sure that big will eventually get fixed as Qt 5.4.0/1 becomes the norm. 
Once it is fixed, all one need do is place the version number in place of:


#define QTBUG_44813_FIX_VERSION 0x999999


and recompile.
