Follow-up Comment #4, bug #55172 (project octave): * What would the side effects be of changing the "thin" algorithm that way? ** Do all the tests in bwmorph (e.g. the ones that test "thicken") still pass? (It might even be a good thing when some of them start to fail, see next point.) ** Does the "thicken" option become more Matlab compatible with this change? It relies fully on the "thin" option, and is currently not very compatible (see bug #51884). ** Do ALL the tests in the whole image package still pass?
