Status: Ready For Test => Fixed

Follow-up Comment #30:
I'll just close this as fixed for now, since it seems to me like the original
issue is addressed on GNU/Linux systems, and Windows or Cygwin systems can
work around this by using --enable-link-all-dependencies. Whether this should
be done automatically on those systems or not can be the subject of a separate
bug report. And the same goes for macOS, if there are build issues related to
linking all dependencies, that can be the subject of another bug report.
