Follow-up Comment #45, bug #55187 (project octave): Looks like the QT_CPPFLAGS problem is because the macOS frameworks makes it problematic to have a root include directory (each Qt module has its own framework bundle). This can be fixed in a clumsy way by creating a linux style include path using symbolic links.
