URL: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?55349> Summary: Building with --enable-jit fails with LLVM 3.8.x Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: jbect Submitted on: Mon 31 Dec 2018 06:48:11 PM UTC Category: Interpreter Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Regression Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: 5.0.0 Operating System: Any _______________________________________________________ Details: Octave no longer builds with --enable-jit. It worked with Octave 4.4.1. The reason is a recent changeset (2eb71b83d3e2: partially refactor function lookup in symbol table) which removed the ::find method from the symbol_table class. The attached patch fixes the problem by calling ::builtin_find instead. Tested with LLVM 3.8.1 on stable. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?55349> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
