Follow-up Comment #13, bug #50692 (project octave):
This problem is only in the GUI command window, not the CLI terminal. It
happens regardless where the focus is, even when focus is in another
application and also when Octave is minimized to the task bar. It is of
course most annoying when you are typing and editing a formula in the command
window and suddenly there is a line break in the middle of your formula and
you can not go back up.
I have to take back my previous comment about this happening on the 0 and 30
second mark of the system clock. Now it was at 48 and 18 second marks. But
always exactly 30 seconds apart.
