Update of bug #56155 (project octave):

Follow-up Comment #3:

Must be equivalent to File->Exit on Linux.

Obvious first thoughts are that it is linked either 1) a timeout or 2) an
action sequence.

To test #2, can you launch Octave and then execute a simple command like


x = 1


and then check the to see if the menu item is enabled?

If that doesn't work, try a more complicated command like


sombrero


For test #1, launch Octave and then wait for specified lengths of time (15
seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute) and check whether the Quit item has been
enabled.
