           Fixed Release: 9.1.0 (current default) => 8.4.0 (current stable) 
         Planned Release: 9.1.0 (current default) => 8.4.0 (current stable)

grafted the change to stable with

updated fixed release.

and of course only now do i see i mis-named the function as betainf in all of
my commit messages both times. (function itself is fine though).
